Not your typical beach, to lie down and enjoy the sun, but it's of great beauty. Vik is the southernmost village in Iceland and is also the wettest place in the country. A unique feature of the beaches in Vik are the basalt column rising out from the sea, which are often rough due to the high winds in the North Atlantic.
