Even though it may look a bit wild at first sight, it's really a great place to spend your vacation. In the summer time, you can see many ships coming and going to France. The scenery here is amazing: walls of rock, golden sand, hillocks covered with black-grass.
And if you decide to go there, one thing you should know is that The Isle of Purbeck is not really an island, it is a peninsula. It got the name of "isle" in the old times, when there was only one way to get to the island.
Take the ferry to the unspoilt Shell Beach, and enjoy the wild scenery.
