"Sunwapta" is the Stoney Indian term for ‘turbulent river’ and this river lives up to its name. With a steep gradient and numerous rapids this is Jasper’s wild water rollercoaster ride. The only class 3 located fully within Jasper National Park it offers spectacular scenery and good wildlife opportunities. Don’t miss the high water mid-June to late July!

Policies This trip does not require any previous experience and are suited for physically active individuals. Please wear a swim suit under your clothes. Wet suits are to be put over your swimwear at the river side. Please bring snacks and water. There is a min. of 2 passengers per booking.
