Having got up so early...

Even though it’s small in size, it has an impressive legacy of artistic and literary traditions.

Uruguay is South America’s secret gem and the perfect place to relax and enjoy some quiet time. Montevideo is pretty quiet for a capital city, but it’s friendly and attractive. Also called ‘the city of roses’, the capital is boasting in beautiful gardens and parks.

The coastal region is full of resort cities like Punta del Este, where you can enjoy the local wines and the delicious meat. José Ignacio, a small village on the southern coast of Uruguay is also growing in popularity, because of the many celebrities who frequented this once little fishing village to escape the paparazzi in Punta del Este.

Both fall and spring are great seasons to visit, as the weather is pleasant but the tourists are many.
