Enjoy a Rocky Mountain backcountry adventure into the White River National Forest. These trips are great for everyone. Guests will enjoy a scenic snowmobile tour starting at an elevation of 8,000 feet and climb to 10,500 feet, while enjoying views of Vail's Back Bowls, Notch Mountain, the Continental Divide and three surrounding mountain ranges.

Inclusion

Transportation; Forest service fees; Taxes; Snowsuits, boots, and a helmet; New 2014 Ski Doo 4 Stroke Snowmobiles; Tigiwon 2 hour tours include hot chocolate or hot cider; gratuity.

Exclusion

Meals; additional gratuities.

Hours of operation

Available: Daily from mid-December through April 1st. One-Hour Tours: 8:30am - 11:30am, 11:00am - 2:00pm, 1:30pm - 4:30pm, 3:00pm - 6:00pm (3:00 Tigiwon Tour begins in February until the end of season). Two-Hour Tours: 8:30am - 12:30am, 11:00am - 3:00pm, 1:30pm - 5:30pm, 3:00pm - 7:00pm (3:00 Tigiwon Tour begins in February until the end of season).

Duration

Approximately 3 hours (including pick-up, check-in, drive out, tour, and drop-off).

Location Hotel Pickup from selected hotels in Vail, Beaver Creek, Avon, Edwards, and Copper Mountain. The exact pick up time will vary but will be within 30 minutes of the start of the tour. The exact time will be clarified upon confirmation. Early season and late season – we run our Tigiwon tours at the Camp Hale location – this location may change at the last minute depending on the weather.

Participant restrictions

Children 8 and under ride for free. Passengers must be at least 2 years of age. Guest 14 years and older can drive their own snowmobile. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Additional Information We recommend that you wear warm layers as the weather can change quickly. You will want to bring a warm hat, neck gaiter, gloves, and goggles or sunglasses. Dress in ski gear and layers - a snowsuit and boots will be provided if necessary. Don't forget your camera!

Policies All guided tours have a minimum of 2 snowmobiles. Please allow us a 15 minute window beginning from the confirmed pickup timing in anticipation of winter driving conditions.
