What makes this adventure unique is that, in addition to visiting great wineries, you'll also explore the hidden gems of one of America's premier wine regions. You will travel into the grandeur of The Valley of the Moon and indulge your senses in landscaped gardens, artisan chocolates, cheeses, olive oils, and a host of other visual and savory delights.

You'll visit an art gallery which features original paintings for wine labels, as well as a winery where you will learn the art of wine blending and produce your own blend. The Wine Country Safari includes complimentary hotel pick-up and drop-off, on-board breakfast with champagne, all tasting fees, a delicious (picnic) lunch, and a top shelf adult beverage on return trip (port and moscato). A perfect day!

Cross the Golden Gate Bridge and head for the pastoral splendor of the vineyards. Learn to blend wine and craft your own personal blend. Taste world class, homemade chocolates. Savor locally crafted cheese, from mild to "where's the water!?" Taste olive oil from a 150 year old farm and 20 year aged Balsamic. View art works ~ see the "aesthetics of wine"...from original canvas to label. Delicious lunch in a delightful setting. Sample award winning wine.

Hours of operation

Availability schedule: January, March, November 1, 2014 through January 31, 2015 departs every Wednesday and Sunday. From April to October 2014 departs every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Tour does not operate in February and on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Policies

Complete information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, will be included on your Confirmation Voucher. This tour requires a minimum of 2 passengers to operate. We supply blankets and pith helmets for all clients. All of our vehicles are heated. For new visitors to Northern California, the weather is unpredictable and subject to change unexpectedly, so be sure to bring along a light jacket or sweater no matter how nice the day starts out. The best advice is always to dress in layers.
