The Tower of America's: Take a ride up the tower of America's glass elevators, and experience the breathtaking view from the observation deck located 500 feet above ground. The tower also has a revolving restaurant and gift shop.

Hemisfair Park - Institute of Texan Cultures: Site of the 1968 World's Fair. It was created as the Texas Pavilion for Hemisfair and is now a part of the University of Texas San Antonio. Explore over 50,000 sq. feet of exhibits representing 27 ethnic groups who settled in Texas.

Mission San José: The finest example of a completely restored mission in the United States renowned for exquisite stone carvings including the famous Rose Window.

Mission Concepcion: Experience the strength of the Friars who Christianized the Indians. View the original frescos still visible within the rooms of the mission. This is the oldest unrestored stone church in our nation today.

King William Historic District: Established in the 1840's this 25 block historic districtwas originally settled by prominent German merchants. Stroll down King William street, named after kaiser Wilhelm l of Prussia and marvel at the beautiful homes along the banks of the San Antonio River. The Steves Homestead and the Carl H Guenter House are both museums available for touring.

Spanish Governor's Palace: The beautiful and architecturally unique old stone quarry, renowned for its beautiful foliage. Drive by the San Antonio Zoo one of the nation's finest zoos and Brackenridge Park.

Main Plaza (Plaza De Las Islas): Founded in 1731 by 15 families from the Canary Islands.Famous for its fountain with "dancinglights" visible after dusk, Plaza de las Islas is located near the center of historic San Antonio and directly across from the Municipal Plaza building that houses the City Council Chambers. It does not have a pavilion, rest rooms or off-street parking.
