Intro: Rafting is fun and exciting for the whole family. Try our rafting tours on the Truckee River. We feature intro tours for family or corporate groups, with beginning to advanced runs. Participants will truly enjoy the serenity of the snowcapped Sierra while floating over the churning snow melt of the Truckee River.

Inclusion

Transportation provided for all hotels in Reno and selected hotels in the Lake Tahoe area, Planning and Guide service, All required equipment, Food and beverage and any tickets required.

Exclusion

Items of a personal nature and Gratuity.

Available: Daily during Spring/Summer/Fall Season (April - October) only.

Itinerary Your rafting adventure begins with our complimentary shuttle pickup at any local hotel and ride up river. Smile with excitement as you ride the river gallantly downward, back to our adventure center in downtown Reno. On the way, listen for the chatter of mountain quail, meadow larks, and blue jays. This is a day of contrasts; breathtaking scenery, exciting rapids, and local floral and fauna. We make it fun and easy by doing the driving, providing great guides, all the connections, and beverages en route to the staging area. Plan on a day of excitement!

Participant restrictions

Guests must be between the ages of 10 and 70 years of age to participate.

Additional Information Suggested Clothing and Gear: Swim Gear, Dry Towel, Sun Block, Tennis Shoes or Rafting Booties, Sun Glasses, No Cotton Clothing.

Policies Tour requires a minimum of 2 passengers to operate. Maximum 10 passengers. All medical issues must be advised and included upon reservation. All participants must read and sign a Release of Liability form before beginning any activity. Participant assumes all potential risks. Activities offered by Sierra Adventures are subject to seasonal restrictions, weather cancellations, and your physical limitations. Complete information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, will be included on your Confirmation Voucher.
