Islamic Architecture

A brilliant destination, with guaranteed sun in the wintertime and a combination of nature and culture.

The Sultanate of Oman has one of the oldest civilizations in the Arabian Peninsula and is a land of friendly people and dramatic landscapes. Discover a thousand miles of untouched coastline, clear blue waters, vast sand dunes and deserts, and harsh rugged mountain scenery.

Spend a night at a Bedouin camp, among the sand dunes of the Wahiba Sands or sail on a traditional wooden dhow having dolphins as company. At night, you can observe how the rare giant turtles come on the shore to lay their eggs.

The capital, Muscat, is a charming, but modern city with fine museums and great architecture. Go snorkeling and diving along the coast and enjoy all the water sports you can think of or take a guided safari to admire the best scenery Oman has to offer.
