For this Accra city tour, you'll meet up with your friendly local guide and head off to the Old Fadama area of Accra. Here, you’ll be able to witness another way of life, with the people who have migrated from the north of the country, in search of a better life. Take the time to learn how the local people go about their trade, using disused machinery, appliances, and equipment to their benefit. From old refrigerators to computers, printers, microwaves, and industrial machinery, the local community dismantle the appliances, locate the valuable parts and one way or another, find use for them. Whether selling valuable elements or using parts for other appliances, the people here are very industrious at making a living. Throughout the tour, take the time to ask questions and interact with this special community, who despite extreme hardship, still manage to survive with a sense of pride and humility
