koukounaries beach

Its name comes from the beautiful pine trees that surround the beach, in Greek, "koukounaries" meaning "pine trees". The beach is located on the western part of Skiathos and you can reach it by bus, from the capital. There's a bus every thirty minutes. This is the most famous and also most crowded beach on the island, with fine sand and crystal waters.

Koukounaries beach is a protected environment and the less spoiled natural beach in the Mediterranean.
