Ice swimming in Finland

( No user reviews )

The ones who dare to take a dip in this cold water say it does them good. We just think it's crazy. Still, ice swimming is a Finnish winter custom. Approximately 120,000 Finns go winter swimming, starting with the first day of October till the end of February.

The toughest swimmers just take off their clothes and dive into the water. The not so brave, change into swimming suits and then plunge into the cold water.
