Holiday Lights Segway Tour

We'll glide along beautifully-lit Michigan Avenue for great views of "the Bean" and the ice skaters. Our route also takes us past the gorgeous holiday window displays at Macy’s (formerly Marshall Fields) and along the tree-lit Michigan Avenue. Our tour wouldn't be complete without a stop at the famous Krist Kringle market for a cup of hot chocolate, some holiday carols, and a view of the city's grand Christmas tree in Daley Plaza. It's the perfect way to celebrate the season!

Hours of operation

Tours run every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 6 pm from November 27th through December 23rd. This tour is not available January 1, July 4, December 24-25 and 31.

Participant restrictions

Segway participants must be at least 14 years old and 100-260 lbs (45 kg-117 kg). An adult must accompany anyone under the age of 18. Women who are pregnant are strongly recommended not to participate. Persons who suffer from seizure disorders, balance disorders, vertigo are not allowed to participate for their safety and the safety of others.
Participants must be able to hear Segway PT audio cues, which cannot be interpreted visually as recommended by the manufacturer for the safety of the rider and others Wearing closed-toed flat shoes and or athletic shoes on the Segway Tour is strongly recommended. The use of rocking athletic shoes is prohibited, as are high heeled shoes or any shoe with more than one inch heel. All participants must be able to ascend a flight of stairs without assistance of the handrail and be cable of standing for 2 hours. Those persons who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol are prohibited from participating in this activity and a refund and or rescheduling option is not available. This tour requires 2 people minimum to operate.

Policies We glide rain or shine! Ponchos are provided free of charge. In the event of extreme inclement weather as predicated by the National Weather Forecast System, rescheduling options are available. We do stop for photo opportunities along the tour route, For your safety and the safety of others still cameras, video cameras, any Hand held device are prohibited While operating the Segway I2 HT Guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from the departure location. Please arrive 15 minutes early. Guest is required to call at least 48 hours ahead of your tour date to confirm your reservation.
Complete information, including local telephone numbers where you can be reached & email address will be included on your Confirmation Voucher. Tours may be cancelled in the event of equipment failure or extreme inclement weather. A refund will be issued.
