San Francisco City Hall is the seat of government for the City and County of San Francisco, California. Re-opened in 1915 in its open space area in the city's Civic Center, it is a Beaux-Arts monument to the City Beautiful movement that epitomized the high-minded American Renaissance of the 1880s to 1917. The structure's dome is the fifth largest in the world - taller than that of the United States Capitol by 42 feet.

San Francisco City Hall Docent Tour Program provides the following tours to the public:

==Public Tours== Monday - Friday 10:00 am, 12:00 noon and 2:00 pm. All tours run 45 minutes to an hour. Reservations are required for groups of eight or more and must be made four weeks in advance to allow for scheduling. A fee is charged for private groups of eight people or more. There is no charge for school groups from the elementary-high school level.
