The Capital Sites guided bike tour is the best way to start your visit in Washington, DC. Get up close to the monuments and memorials as you Bike the Sites® of Capitol Hill and the National Mall. While you will stay with your bike for the duration of the tour, frequent stops are made for photo opportunities as your guide shares unique facts and history.

On this tour, you will see: US Capital Building, Library of Congress, Supreme Court, Memorial to Japanese- American Patriotism, Union Station, Smithsonian Castle and several Smithsonian museums, Washington Monument, WWII Memorial, Korean War Veterans Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and the Lincoln Memorial.

Inclusion

Guided tour includes comfort bike rental, helmet, snack, and bottled water.

Transportation to and from the departure location; Gratuities.

Available: Daily (March 14 to November 25); Tour Departs at 10:00am. Closed July 4th.

Duration

Approximately 3 hours - 7 miles (easy ride).

Location Tour begins and ends at our National Mall location at L’Enfant Plaza: 955 L’Enfant Plaza SW, North Building – Suite 905, Washington, DC 20024. Metro (suggested): Take Green, Yellow, Orange or Blue line to L’Enfant Plaza Metro Station. Follow signs for “L’Enfant Plaza” exit; above the exit, you will see large circular artwork of a dog wearing a spacesuit. At the top of the escalator, turn right (you will see a Starbucks) and exit to the outside. Walk towards the square brown Metro pole ahead and turn right and go up the stairs. At the top of the stairs, turn right and walk towards the Plaza. Bike and Roll DC is the first storefront in the first building on the right.

Policies Please arrive by 9:45am for check-in). Guests are required to have Photo ID at check-in. Helmets are mandatory when riding our bikes.
Trailer carriages and trailer tandems are available for rent for children. Tours may be cancelled if the weather makes for dangerous riding conditions. If we are unable to reschedule the tour, we will issue a full credit or refund. Guest is required to call at least 48 hours ahead of the tour date to reconfirm the reservation and to provide height information.
