The fountain is situated in front of Bellagio Hotel, but the show is visible from the street. In the afternoons and early evenings the fountain show takes place every 30 minutes, and from 8 pm to midnight every 15 minutes. Some of the shows may be canceled because of the wind. The show starts with the lightening of the hotel in a purple or red-white-blue color, depending on the music. A system of pipes with more than 1,200 nozzles and 4,500 lights put on a real show at the Bellagio Hotel. The fountain was designed by a firm which specializes in inventive fountains and it cost $75 million.
