Located in northern Morocco, Tangier is a mix of north Africa, Spain, and France. At only 20 kilometers from the Strait of Gibraltar in Spain, there are many ferries going to Europe every day.
Tangier is a very lively city, with friendly people, popular with Moroccan holiday makers and international tourists. The main attraction are the beaches, where tourists enjoy camel rides, windsurfing, football and sunbathing.
Most of the beaches offer chairs and shower facilities, and have bars open in the summer months.
