P1220081-A view of the beach at Sandals, Negril

A combination of sandy beaches and rugged cliffs, laid back atmosphere, friendly people and lots of sun. Negril is considered Jamaica's jewel and its beach has been in the top ten best beaches in the world for several years.

Negril is a unique place, and the fact that it's still underdeveloped and unspoilt makes it so special. Accommodation varies from all-inclusive resorts, situated on the north end of the beach, to family-run hotels in the south part.

West End Road is known as the cliff area and it's south of downtown Negril. It has some good diving and snorkeling spots as well as jumping point reaching 12 meters (40 feet) high.
