Maupiti - The Unspoken Paradise

46 km west from Bora Bora, Maupiti consists of a single high island in the center of a lagoon.

If you're looking for a quiet retreat, Maupiti is the place you want to go, as mass tourism has not yet invaded the island. The atmosphere is different from the other islands, like Bora Bora and Tahiti. There are no 5 star hotels, and you can feel the tranquility of the place and the hospitality of the people. It is the place to experience the authentic Polynesian way of life. Some say that Maupiti is like Bora Bora 40 years ago.
