Gran Canaria is the third largest island of the major islands of the Canary group. Although Tenerife and Fuerteventura are larger in size, Gran Canaria has the largest population.

Gran Canaria is the perfect island on which to spend your holiday. A multi-faceted destination, you can enjoy many features you normally wouldn't find in such a small area. And because it is situated between three continents Africa, Europe and the Americas, the island is often referred to as "the small continent".

A dream island for beach lovers, with wonderful sands to enjoy the glorious sunshine on, the most spectacular spot for sunbathing is Maspalomas's jaw-dropping sand dunes, which will leave you amazed. The island has a spectacular mountainous interior formed by ancient volcanic activity.

The island is not big, 50km by 50km, but the landscape is very diverse, with mountains, tropical forests and wide beaches of sand.
