Emerald Lake, Yukon territory, Canada.

The beautiful colors of Emerald Lake are provoked by the light reflecting in the white marl (mix of clay and calcium carbonate) deposits at the bottom of the lake. Not only the lake, but also the surrounding vegetation is stunning. Rare species of flowers can be seen here, like the yellow lady slipper and the spotted orchid.

Emerald Lake is also perfect for hiking, observing wildlife, canoe, fishing and many other activities. There is something to do for every member of the family.
