Paris Christmas Market

( No user reviews )

The tradition of Christmas markets in the city of lights, goes back to the 14th century, and the winter holiday season would not be the same without them. At the wood chalets you can buy traditional food, handcrafted toys, Christmas ornaments and everything you need to fill up those Christmas stockings.

The largest Christmas market in Paris is by far the one on the Avenue des Champs-Elysées, which opens every year in the beginning of November. It stretches from the Champs-Elysées roundabout to the Place de la Concorde.

With more than 300 stands, La Défense Christmas market is the second as size and it's right in the middle of high rising buildings.

Another beautiful Christmas market and an ice rink can be visited at Place de la Trocadero, just across from the Eiffel Tower. Other markets can be found at Place de la Nation, Place des Abbesses, and if you're in Paris with children or for the child in you, visit the Christmas Market at Disney Village.

During the winter holidays, Paris is filled with Christmas markets, you'll just have to find the time to visit as many as possible.
