A fjord is an narrow arm of the sea, with steep sides, carved by glacial activity. Some of the longest and most beautiful fjords are in Norway, being even a symbol of the country, but they can be found in various places, all over the world. Fjordland National Park in New Zealand is also home to some famous fjords, like Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound. Other destinations were fjords can be seen are Alaska and Greenland, where impressive glaciers can be spotted. No matter which one you'll chose to visit, it's going to be spectacular.
