Highlights / General details

Designed for Very Experienced Photographers - We meet at our office which is located in Page, AZ. When we leave from our office there's a drive 20 minutes to the canyon. Once at the canyon the driver will get everyone in the group ready for 2 hours of photography. Usually our 1st hour inside the canyon is spent looking for the best glows inside the canyon, really depending on the time of the year you may be able to see the light-shafts that enter from the top and hit the canyon floor. Our guides will do their best to clear the rooms for pictures but this all depends on man-kind - if everyone is to cooperate with one another there is a very good chance you will take some images without people. Do know you do not have to join the photo tour in order to take photos you can take photos on either tour time and please know we only go to one canyon on either Tour #1 or Tour #2 - the only difference between these tours is the time spent inside the canyon.

March 1 to September 30 - During the summer months our Photographic Tour departs at 11:30am. This tour will get you to the canyon prior to noon to capture the shafts of lights coming down into the canyon for the first hour (weather permitting). The second hour colors are more vibrant (red, blue and purple).

October 1 to February 28 - Winter months our Photographic tour departs at 9:30am. During these months the shaft of lights do not occur as the sun is traveling more over the southern hemisphere. Colors during these months are more pastel (pinks, yellow, peach and orange).
