Carving their way through Glenwood Canyon, Shoshone (shoh-shoh-nee) Rapids offers a great blend of excitement and relaxation for the whole family. Get ready to paddle, because Shoshone offers some great class III whitewater rapids right off the bat. Mellow out with some class II white water rapids and enjoy the beautiful canyon walls on both sides of the river. With our morning trip, enjoy a riverside lunch along the way.
Inclusion
Hotel pick - up from selected hotels in Vail, Beaver Creek, Avon, Edwards and Copper Mountain; Guided tour; 9:00am tour: Lunch; 1:30pm tour: Snack.
Hours of operation
Trip departs at 9:00am and 1:30pm. Hotel pick up is 30 minutes prior to tour departure.
Duration
Morning trip is 4 hours. Afternoon trip is 6 hours.
Participant restrictions
Children 2 and older can ride the class II portion. Ages 8 and older can join the entire ride.
Policies
A minimum of 6 people are required.
