San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

( No user reviews )

Opened on May 7, 1927 this has become the largest airport in the San Francisco Bay Area, the second busiest airport in the state of California and the tenth largest in the United States. San Francisco airport was the first major U.S. airport to achieve 100 percent fully automated and integrated baggage screening.

It has numerous passenger amenities and offers a wide range of services, from spa treatments to banking services, a modern business center, museums and children's area.

There are plenty restaurants to choose from, and also the shopping is a must do. If you have enough time, a visit to the airport's aquarium should be on your list. If you're interested in aviation, you can find out more at the aviation museum and library.
