The Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum’s exhibition, created by the Smithsonian Institution, tells the story of musical pioneers who overcame racial and socio-economic barriers to create the music that shook the world. Located at 191 Beale Street at FedExForum, the museum offers a comprehensive Memphis music experience from the rural music of the 1930s, through Memphis’ musical heyday in the 70s, to its global musical influence.

Inclusion

Memphis music history, 300 minutes of information, Seven galleries featuring 3 audio visual programs, more than 30 instruments, 40 costumes and other musical treasures.

Exclusion

Transportation.

Hours of operation

Open daily from 10am until 7pm, with our last tour at 6:15pm. Museum Holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
