Itinerary Once everyone has been picked up from their different hotels we will travel through Avenida 9 de Julio and Recoleta neighborhood and hear the story of Eva Peron´s life. After this introduction, we will arrive at the Recoleta cemetery and enjoy a 30 minute walking tour through the cemetery. The guided visit will lead us to the mausoleums of the main historic characters of the Argentine history such as - Marcelo T. de Alvear, president from 1922 to 1928, and Raul Alfonsin, the first argentine president democratically elected in 1983 following the military government. We will also see the mausoleum of Evita and her family.

Then we will be able to admire “Floralis Generica”, one of the most iconic sculptures in Buenos Aires. Meanwhile the guide will tell us about General San Martin, one of the liberators of South America, and about Carlos Thays, a famous French-argentine garden architect.

The tour continues through the extensive 3 de Febrero park in Palermo where we will discover the Galileo Galilei Planetarium, before arriving to the hippodrome and the polo field. After which, we can get a taste of the diversity in Buenos Aires with a 20 minutes to walk around China Town, with its multitude of restaurants and shops.

On our way to Plaza Italia, we will lean more about Jorge Luis Borges, a famous argentine short-story writer, essayist, poet and translator.

The tour finishes with the visit of the Evita Museum where you will be able to gain a deeper understanding of the life and work of one of the most important women in Argentina.
