Highlights / General details

We head south until we get to “Portete” in “Tarqui”, historical place for its monument, which commemorates the triumph of Ecuador over the Tarqui Battle. Then we continue until we get to the beautiful waterfall called “el Chorro de Giron”, we will hike about 45 minutes to the lower part of the waterfall. We continue the tour visiting the Valley of “Yunguilla” where we can observe a traditional sugar cane extraction ranch where they make traditional liquor and brown sugar blocks. Lunch. Return to Cuenca.
