Then, you’ll get to the soul of the neighborhood, the corner of Balcarce and Independencia, internationally renowned as the home of the most traditional tango house, the first one and, maybe, the one that has better preserved the true identity of Tango over the years: EL VIEJO ALMACÉN.

Enjoy the most traditional tango corner. An international menu, the most typical dishes and the best Argentine wines introduce you to an unforgettable evening. The most applauded tango show worldwide relives the old times of the tango and takes us back to the times of "malevos" and "arrabales" in the soil where the tango set its first roots… Buenos Aires. The stage is lighted but the echo of an older century remains untouched. The chords of a typical orchestra revolve around the tables. The dancers turn round in a complicit embrace. The tango evening in El Viejo Almacén has started.

Additional Information TRADITIONAL MENU Starters Empanadas” duet (minced meat pies) Onion Soup and leek albis with parmesan cheese Cured salmon bruschetta, toasted coriander and fresh greens dressed with vinaigrette. Mediterranean tasting Iberian ham involtini, bocconcini, sundried tomatoes, dressed mushrooms, caper mayonnaise with caper’s fresh cut sprouts. Main Courses Our Sirloin rump steak with season’s fresh greens and fried potato sticks. Chicken breast stuffed with Iberian ham, olive oil and sundried tomatoes dressing, and candied sweet potatoes pie. Fresh fish of the day with smoked eggplant soup, Andean baby potatoes, candied vegetables and our bouquet. Soft spinach crepes, with cottage cheese served with a tomato, herbs and mushrooms reduction. Fettuccini with filetto sauce and/or fresh cream. Vegetarian Menu Cheese cake in its own sauce, roast tomatoes and mushrooms chardonnay. Vegetables Wok with white rice and citric fruit.
