Damnoen Saduak Floating Market

( No user reviews )

General

Starting from 8am, the floating market is crowded with hundreds of vendors floating in their boats full of fruits and vegetables, selling them or even exchanging their goods. The fruits and vegetables are grown in their own orchards, as the soil beside the canal is vet fertile. The area is most famous for its Malacca grape, mangoes, bananas and coconuts. Visitors can enjoy a boat trip themselves, and experience the Thai way of life, see the traditional houses along the canal.

But fruits and vegetables is not all you can get. They are selling everything. You can have Thai style snack or breakfast on your boat. Buy hats, T-shirts, vegetables, dress, toys, kitchen gadgets, everything you need, you'll find here.

This is one Thai experience which must not be missed.
