The walk includes a visit to many interesting points, such as the São Bento Monastery, Candelaria (the candle-makers), Praça XV, the "Travessa do Mercado", Imperial Court, the cultural centre located in the beautifully-restored Banco do Brasil, the Casa França-Brasil, Ouvidor (the listeners) Street and Gonçalves Dias Street with the traditional Colombo Coffee Shop. The walk continues on down Uruguaiana Street, Carioca Square up to the Metropolitan Cathedral where passengers will meet the transportation that will take them back to their hotels.

Hours of operation

Available: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday; Departs at 1:00pm. No Tour departures: Jan 1, Feb 28, Mar 4 & 6-7, May 1-2, Jun 19-20, Dec 24-25.

Policies

The specific departure time for this tour will be determined upon reconfirmation. All tours offer pick up from all major hotels in the tour cities; however the client is required to call 48 hours in advance to confirm pick up time. If you would like to avoid picking up and dropping off other passengers, please ask for the last meeting point location when calling to reconfirm or when selecting your pick up point. On Week days at the Windsor Atlântica Hotel for tours departing until 9:00am. After that, at the Marina Palace hotel. On Saturday at the Marina Palace hotel for all tours. On Sundays and holidays at the Windsor Atlântica Hotel for all tours. Complete information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, will be included on your Confirmation Voucher.
