Our guided tasting and cultural walking tours take you on a 3-hour entertaining culinary adventure through historic Downtown Nassau, seamlessly combining delicious and authentic food and drink flavors with some serious fun. Suitable for all age groups and fitness levels, you will experience local delights from one-of-a-kind specialty food stores, locally-adored restaurant landmarks and flavorful ethnic eateries while gaining fascinating historical, architectural, and cultural insights into the island's commercial and political capital city. You will leave this tour filled with new culinary perspectives, a comfortably satisfied stomach, and the confidence to continue exploring the Nassau’s full spectrum of restaurant offerings, sites and attractions.

Inclusion

All food and drink tastings (7 in total), professionally trained tour guide, exclusive in-store coupons, excellent photo opportunities.

Hours of operation

Tours are offered Monday-Saturday, departing at 11:30am. You must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the tour’s departure time.

Duration

Approximately 3 hours. Distance Covered: 1.3 miles or 2.2 km.

Location The tour begins at the Entrance of Christ Church Cathedral, located on the corner of George and King Streets (off of Bay Street). It is located directly East of the Pirates of Nassau Museum. The tour does not finish at the starting point. Detailed return directions and a map will be provided at the beginning of the tour.

Participant restrictions

This tour is not suitable for wheelchair guests due to several hills, challenging sidewalks and flights of stairs at several of our tasting locations. What to Wear: Comfortable walking shoes and clothing. Young foodies are welcome on our tours, but they must be accompanies by an adult. Children under 3, who will be eating do not require a separate ticket. However, the tours average 3 hours in length and do involve a fair degree of standing and walking so we ask that you consider whether your child would like to participate on a food tour.

Policies Maximum 10 guests per tour. You must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the tour’s departure time for audio set-up, check-in, and tour introduction. Weather Conditions: We tour rain or shine! (Rain gear is provided if needed). Complete information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, will be included on your Confirmation Voucher.
