The tour begins with a visit of the beach and the historical Morro de Arica, a steep hill located close to the coast, from where we can enjoy one of the most spectacular view of the city from its top. It’s also here in El Morro de Arica where we can find some popular touristic spots such the Military Museum, with vestiges of the Pacific War and the statue of El Cristo de la Paz, a monument which seals the Peace Treaty between Chile and Peru. The tour continues with the visit the Azapa Valley and the San Miguel de Azapa´s Archaeological Museum, managed by the Trarapaca University of Arica.
