During this full day tour we will sail north of Argentine Lake among spectacular "ice floes." These floating sculptures of frozen sea water are smaller than an ice field and yet can still be enormous. From the boat you will be able to see the glaciers Upsala, Spegazzini and Onelli (respectively the biggest and highest of all glaciers in the National Park.)

Itinerary You will be picked up in the lobby of your hotel and driven to Puerto Bandera, approximately 31 miles from El Calafate. Enjoy the views of the Patagonian step and Argentine Lake during the journey. At Puerto Bandera, we will embark on a catamaran and start sailing north of the Argentine Lake among spectacular icebergs. These floating sculptures of frozen sea water are smaller than an ice field and yet can still be enormous. They also come in a variety of shapes. From the boat you will be able to see the glaciers Upsala, Spegazzini and Onelli (respectively the biggest and highest of all glaciers in the National Park.) Be amazed by stunning handling glaciers and snow capped mountains and by the color of the water. Finally, you will reach the north wall of the impressive Perito Moreno Glacier before returning to Puerto Bandera and then the hotel.

Policies Tour requires a 2 passenger minimum to operate. You MUST provide passport information for each passenger (name, passport number, nationality, date of birth) at booking. If you do not the tour will be cancelled. This tour is subject to weather conditions. In the unlikely event of a cancellation due to weather, a refund will be provided or an alternative will be offered. It is highly recommended visitors bring their own lunch as it is not provided. Complete information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, will be included on your Confirmation Voucher.
