At the corner of Brook Street and Davies Street and within easy reach of Hyde Park and Oxford Street, this 5 star luxury hotel is famous for its royal guests, often being referred to as an "extension to Buckingham Palace".

The original hotel was founded in 1812 and it was known under the name of Mivart's Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Claridge, who were the owners of a smaller hotel next to Mivart, bought it in 1854 and transformed it into Claridge’s. The present building is not the original one, as in 1894 it was bought by Richard D’Oyly Carte, founder of Savoy Hotel, and was demolished and replaced with a new building, with modern facilities such as lifts and en suite bathrooms. The building has been placed on the Statutory List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest.

In 2005, The Savoy Group was bought by Quinlan Private who renamed it the Maybourne Hotel Group.

This luxury hotel is favourite between celebrities; some of the big names that stayed at Claridge's include U2, Mariah Carey, Mick Jagger and Brad Pitt. Starting with 2001, famous chef Gordon Ramsay is in charge of the hotel’s restaurant, offering unforgettable fine dining. Here you will have the chance to experience world-renowned cuisine in one of London’s most luxurious restaurants.

With award-winning service and business facilities, this is the perfect hotel for business travelers and for everyone who wants to be spoiled. A night at Claridge’s is an unforgettable experience.
