Isla de Vieques, situated in the northeastern Caribbean, lies about 8 miles (13 km) to the east of the Puerto Rican mainland.
The island is blessed with spectacular beaches, some of the best in the Caribbean Islands.,Snorkeling opportunities are excellent, especially at Blue Beach.
There is more to Isla de Vieques than beautiful beaches, the island is also rich in history. There is a museum you can visit and it also houses the last Spanish fort built in the Americas.
