General

This park is family owned, with four generations involved in it’s operation over the past 30 years. Named after the village of Cockington in England, the park displays the best and unusual styles of architecture from different areas in Great Britain.

At the request of several Embassies in Canberra,a new area was added to the park: The International Area, incorporated in 1998. This area gradually grown into a multicultural display, with architectural miniatures representing attractions from thirty countries. The area became so popular, that now there is a waiting list for new displays.

More than 35,000 flowers are planted each year to separate the displays from the paths.

Inside the Gardens you will find The Garden Café, opened daily from 10.00am to 3.30pm and serving light lunches, teas and refreshments.
