I'm mid-life and just getting started with the globe-trotting. Now that I'm started I don't intend to stop. Life goal is to hit each and every continent, except maybe Antartica (but even maybe there, too), and enjoy myself fully while doing so. New foods, new experiences, new insights, new peoples, new places... it would never get old or boring!
My favorite country in the world is - at the moment - Costa Rica... I've many countries yet to see.. My favorite city is Calgary.. The worst place on Earth is anywhere there is no water..
I speak English and a bit of Spanish (muy poco!).. I love everything about the Latin American culture. I'm fan of mojitos!.
I fly about 6 times per year. My most memorable experience is staying at a B&B in Bath, England.. My perfect holiday is adventure, relaxation, and something new all in the same trip..
My house is the most expensive thing I own. I'm afraid of very little and I hate spiders.. Oh... and I once got lost in my head.. I love eating spicy foods and drinking sangrias or mojitos..
Last place I'd travel to is Costa Rica.. I would live in Costa Rica!. I wish I lived by the ocean, facing west to watch magnificent sunsets.. My dream is to travel the world on an open ticket - visiting all continents..

The first thing you probably do on arriving in a new city is check out the listings - to make sure you aren't missing out on any good galleries, gigs or shows... Heading off the beaten track is par for the course... You get a kick out of stumbling upon that hot little bar where just the locals hang out and sitting in the corner with a sketchbook musing on your adventures... « less
