Waterfalls: A true spectacle, proof of nature's forces and wonders of mother nature. The story of waterfalls is happy and sad. Some waterfalls have become major tourism attractions ("the big three" - Niagara, Iguazu, Victoria) and are well preserved and maintained, offering visitors sensory delights and experiences. However, sometimes, when economic interest prevails over beauty, waterfalls have been destroyed: Guaira (Paraguay) due to the Itaipu Dam, Tissitat (Ethiopia) due to the Tis Abbay power plant, and many more around the globe. These are what we think the greatest 10 waterfalls in the world.
