We won't say that this is the most amazing beach you've seen, but Barceloneta is really a nice beach. And if you happen to be in Barcelona, why not visit it? It's close to the city center, a 15 minute walk from Las Ramblas, it has many nice restaurant where you can enjoy fresh sea food. A long promenade, bordered by palm trees stretches all the way to the next beach, Icaria. A good thing to do if you don't want to lay on the beach, is to rent a bike and explore the surroundings. Be aware, there is a nudist beach at the far end of the promenade.
