This newly renovated boutique hotel on the Copenhagen waterfront promenade is modern and classic at the same time; with a view of the Amalienborg Castle and a location close to the picturesque Nyhavn Canal, it’s a part of the old Copenhagen — inside, though, it looks like today, a mix of modernist Danish furniture and contemporary-luxe flourishes.
There may be more ornament and more glam than you’d expect — this is Danish design now, not a Sixties time capsule. Front has more in common with London-style luxury boutiques, smartly designed yet playfully over-the-top, with a busy restaurant and a popular bar to cement the attraction.
Rooms are sensibly sized from Small through XX-Large, all with flat-screen televisions, free soft mini-bar, free high-speed wireless internet access, and luxurious bathrooms with plush robes and indulgent REN toiletries. There’s a library to relax in, complete with a fireplace - and a fitness center with yoga instructions and massage. Other more serious service include a business center and a boardroom. And the location is tough to beat — close to the spectacular Opera House and any number of cultural attractions, as well as all the best of Copenhagen’s shopping, nightlife and dining.
Guests over the age of 12 are considered adults. Some rooms accommodate 3 or more. The "Medium/Large" room sleeps up to 3 guests. For crib/cot, must book "Medium" room or larger. For 2 adults + rollaway bed, must book "X-Large" or larger. For 2 adults + 2 kids beyond crib age, must book "N/A" room or larger.
Cribs are available and may be subject to an additional fee. Roll-away beds available and may be subject to an additional fee. No additional charges for kids beyond crib/roll-away.
Babysitting services provided by screened outside help at Dkrupon request per hour. Daycare services provided, kids between the ages of 0 and 3 can be dropped off on a fixed schedule. The restaurant is kid-friendly with a kids menu.
