Getting up close and personal with the Arctic’s captivating wildlife. You’ll have the chance to catch sight of the polar bears at all times of the day as you scour their natural habitat. Taking a different view of the bears by hopping into a helicopter for a low flight amongst them. It's also a fun way to get around the rugged terrain. Travelling on the Tundra Lodge “train”, providing unparalleled access to the spectacular tundra environment. Dog-sledding along the ice-bound shores of the Hudson Bay is one way to be sure to catch sight of the amazing Northern Lights. |
Our safari features two awe-inspiring sights that make this trip spectacular. The first being the iconic representation of the North pole - the largest land carnivore on earth - the polar bear.
From a remote sub-arctic lodge base in the town of Churchill, you will venture out from the Tundra Lodge into the vast blinding white landscapes. Here, you will position yourself in prime location to get up close to these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.
You will witness these bears first-hand as they wait for the Hudson Bay to freeze so they can begin their annual big feed - an extraordinary experience. Your guides will also be on hand to educate you and answer any questions you may have about the bears.
As night time falls, the celestial magic begins: lighting up the sky is a giant spectrum of colour, washing and bursting across the sky. Regarded as one
of the most spectacular of the world's natural phenomena, Aurora Borealis, otherwise known as the 'Northern Lights' , is a sight to behold.
This safari is a collection of breathtaking experiences, a chance for you to take part in the immense beauty of nature.
