Enjoying a list of 'best ofs' that frankly are hard to beat. Best landscapes, best activities (rafting in the glacial waters of Patagonia), best 'oh my God that is gorgeous' moment (as you sip a crisp Chilean White Wine in the vineyard that it was produced in) and many, many more. Visiting the beautiful coastal town of Valparaiso - known as the Venice of South America. Sampling the fantastic produce of the Viña Matetic vineyard in the San Antonio wine valley. Mountain-biking through the burnt orange trails of the desert with its immense views and surreal Dali-esque landscapes of the Moon Valley. |
boxes for the perfect holiday range of experiences. And we reckon now is the time to go, before it hits the big time (it will) and the chance to be 'ahead of the crowd with your travels' will have disappeared.
So why Chile? Words don't do a place justice when you have landscapes as beautiful as Chile's. But rather than just point you to the gallery and let the pictures do the talking we’ll shed a little light on the destination that has captured the heart of so many of us.

The thing that Chile has in bucket loads is variety. Read Che Guevara's Motor-Cycle Diaries and you will meet a country of ever changing, visually arresting landscapes; a country full of warm hospitality that leaves you feeling like you have a home away from home.

Well there are many ways and our in-depth knowledge of the country will allow us to craft the perfect itinerary for you. Start off in Santiago where we will arrange some time in the stunning surrounding vineyards, followed by a couple of days soaking up the atmosphere of the beautiful coastal town of Valparaiso (known as the Venice of South America). From here, head north to the wilds of the Atacama Desert and the feeling that you have been transported to another planet. You'll stay at the luxurious Explora Hotel de Larache, set in the oasis of San Pedro.
Scorched earth, salt basins, lava flows, volcanoes and vast expanses of uninterrupted plateaus that lie between the Andes and the Pacific Ocean will be at your doorstep. When not marvelling at the landscapes, take your pick of activities on offer from walking and biking to horseback riding.
We would genuinely love to continue to rave about Chile's gems, but we know your time is precious. So instead we hope this brief overview has inspired you. But to really get to know more about Chile, drop us a line or better still, we’ll send you there. You won't regret it. Promise.
