Getting there

By plane

  • Air Iceland [^] flies from Reykjavík to Ísafjörður.
  • Eagle Air [^] flies from Reykjavík to Gjögur and Bíldudalur.

By bus

  • Stjörnubílar [^] has scheduled buses from Hólmavík three times a week and Ferry Baldur three times a week to Ísafjörður. Buses start June 1st and stop 31st August.

By boat

  • Ferry Baldur [^] sails from Stykkishólmur to Brjánslækur all year around, once a day in winter and twice a day in summer.
