Rodrigues (Mauritius) - Pointe Cotton

Despite the fact it's part of the famous Mauritius, Rodrigues is less known and visited. It's different from the other islands in Mauritius, but sometimes a change is good. It's more mountainous and the beaches are a bit rocky, but the good thing is that you can find yourself all alone on the beach, with no one around.

The island is about 100 square kilometers and has a population of 40,000.
