Nisyros is a volcanic island, with a wild beauty. The beautiful harbour is dominated by the Castle of Spiliani, from where you have an amazing view over the island.

Nisyros has some of the most picturesque villages in all Dodecanese, where traditions are preserved and the houses are built in the same traditional style. Beside the island's capital, Mandraki, the most visited places are Emporios and Nikita.

You'll find many beaches all over the island. They are mostly pebbly and the most famous beaches are Lies, Aspri Ammos and the black Hohlakoi beach, formed by volcanic lava.

From Mandraki, boat tours will take you to the islets of Agios Antonios and Giali.
