At first famous for Bounty Beach, a white and wide sandy beach and for the beautiful corals, in the '90s, Malapascua was discovered as a premier diving destination.
It is situated in the Visayan Sea, and is part of Cebu province. It's small in size, only 2.5 kilometers long and 1 km wide, but the beach, the coral gardens and the marine life are abundant.
