One of the three Elaphiti Islands, situated only five kilometers from Dubrovnik. The island can be reached by regular ferry service from Gruž, the port of Dubrovnik. It is a 20 minute boat ride by ferry, or 10 minutes by water taxi.
Koločep is a small island, with two villages of about 150 inhabitants each and because it's car free, it's very pleasant to explore it by foot.
