The Swiss ski resort of Grindelwald is part of the Jungfrau TopSki Area and has direct access to 213 kilometers of ski slopes, served by 20 ski lifts. There are special slopes for beginners and children, offering also a ski school.

The territory of Grindelwald rises from a height of 720 m above sea level to that of 4,107 m above sea level. The village itself lies at a height of 1,050 m above sea level and is home to 3,800 inhabitants and up to 7,000 guests.
